March 24, 2017: Compared to our Mexico travels the year before, our time in Calderitas was more focused on daily living and making new friends.
March 1, 2017: Since you heard from us last, we’ve had three sets of visitors. We very much enjoyed our time in Playa del Carmen with the Raymonds and then with the Wentzes, but because we are bad documentarians, we have no photographic proof of those visits. Sorry guys!
June 6, 2016: Continuing our journey north, we drove to Teotihuacan, a huge ruin site about an hour outside Mexico City.
May 26, 2016: No, the van has not fallen into a giant vat of hot sauce. We are talking about the Mexican city by the same name.
A friend recently told us that we should have more pictures of us in the blog. We’re not so sure about the wisdom of this advice, but here we are.
May 23, 2016: We climbed out of Chiapas after the van’s long rest, getting back onto Mexico’s high plains on Friday, May 13. Superstitious? We aren’t.
May 20, 2016:
Yes, concluded. We have driven north, leaving Chiapas behind. But before we get to that, we have a few more things to talk about from Chiapas.
May 9, 2016: Our house remained in Tuxtla, but on Thursday, April 28, we moved two hours east for a different kind of coastal experience.
